CAS | 15162-93-3 |
EINECS | 2392167 |
Molecular Formula | Br3O9Pr |
Molar Mass | 524.61425 |
Melting Point | 56.5℃ [CRC10] |
Water Solubility | g/100g H2O: 55.9 (0°C), 91.8 (20°C), 144 (80°C) [LAN05] |
production method | preparation method Pr(OH) 3 3HBrO 3 → Pr(BrO 3 ) 3 3H 2 O about 0.6mol/L HBrO 3 solution (treated with silver powder in advance to ensure no bromine). Add to a slightly excess Pr(OH) 3 suspension. After sufficient reaction, the excess Pr(OH) 3 was removed by filtration. Concentrate the filtrate until crystals are precipitated when it is placed. The crystal and mother liquor are separated by centrifugation. It is then crushed, but not completely dried, to prevent the loss of crystal water when placed in the air. |
